Southern Shores Cruises was founded by the owners Captain Jay and Captain Ben in 2022. Captain Jay has 30 plus years in boat mechanics and maintenance and has spent the last several years running a local deep-sea fishing charter. His attention to detail and knowledge of USCG regulations and rules will ensure a safe cruise and smooth sailing for all of our guests. Captain Ben has been in the watersports industry over 10 years in the Myrtle Beach area, accumulating thousands of hours experience operating watercraft on the Intracoastal. He specializes in dolphin tours, jet ski rentals, and jet boats, and has a passion for creating unique tours that stand out from the competition.
